Introduction
This experimental system is designed to help understand the fundamental characteristics and primary parameters of a silicon photocell. Students are required to design and establish optical configurations to conduct various experiments so that their hands-on skills can be enhanced. This system can be used to measure and determine the following characteristics and parameters of a silicon photocell:
1. Optical power, open-circuit voltage, and short-circuit current
2. Conversion efficiency, fill factor, and internal resistance
3. V-I characteristic curve
